Topic: What have you got?
Aims:
- To practice vocabulary related to the topic.
- To practice structures have got/has got.
- To teach making interrogative sentences with these structures.
- To develop reading, writing, and speaking skills.
- To teach working in pairs.
Equipment: Flashcards, worksheets, student’s book “Family and Friends 2,” workbook, a dice.
Procedure:
- Introduction: Greetings and warm-up activities with a poem.
- Main Part:
- Vocabulary practice through the game “Roll the dice and make a sentence.”
- Grammar practice: Revising rules for using have got and has got, and forming questions.
- Physical exercises.
- Writing: Pair work on forming sentences and questions.
- Reading: Correcting mistakes in given sentences.
- Summarising: Reviewing the lesson, assigning homework.
